The 8 parts to check
- 1Company and employee
Company name, your details, codice fiscale and start date. Check they're right. - 2Agreement and level
The CCNL (national agreement) and your level set the minimum pay. They must match the contract you signed. - 3Month and hours worked
The payslip period and the hours or days worked. If you did extra hours, overtime must be listed. - 4Earnings (gross)
Everything you earn before deductions: base pay, cost-of-living allowance, seniority, overtime, holidays worked. - 5INPS contributions
About 9-10% of gross pay, paid by you: they fund your pension and unemployment benefit (NASpI). The company pays more on top. - 6Tax (IRPEF)
Income tax, minus the deductions for employees. There are also small regional and municipal surcharges. - 7Net pay
What you actually receive. Wages must be paid by bank transfer or another traceable method, not in cash. - 8Holidays, leave and TFR
How many holiday days and leave hours you have left, and the TFR: money that builds up and is paid when the job ends.
